City of Lincoln always welcomes new members.
There is a one-off payment to join and squad fees that are paid monthly. In addition, there is an annual subscription to Swim England (formerly the Amateur Swimming Association) to cover insurance.
The Club fees are set annually and vary according to which teaching group or coaching squad you are assigned to. The invoices for the squad fees are raised on the 1st of each month. The club uses (an accounting package) to manage the payments of fees and by logging on to QF you will be able to review your account details. The preferred method of payment is by Direct Debit.
All members of are required to become members of Swim England. The subscription provides a level of insurance cover for club activities. The Membership Secretary will be able to provide information on the insurance scheme. The subscription associated with each category of membership vary and are set by Swim England on an annual basis.
There are differing categories of Swim England membership. The categories of membership are as follows:
Category 1: Is for individuals who are part of a club and are learning to swim or are swimming at any level within the club network.
Category 2: Is for individuals who are part of a club and looking to compete in any discipline in open competitions not exempted under Swim England law, or designated as a Low Level Competition
Category 3: Is for anyone involved in a club who isn’t covered by Category 1 or Category 2.
All new squad members are expected to register as competitive members.
The Membership Secretary will provide you with the required Swim England form for the category of membership which must be completed. The Membership Secretary will advise you as to the level of fee and this must be paid.
